Hi Folks,

This is an ISO image of the Retail OSX Leopard 10.5.1 Install DVD, which you can simply burn with any WINDOWS PC to a DOUBLE-LAYER DVD.

This ISO image is intended for users which intend to burn to DVD with WINDOWS utilities. Which then can be useful to install OS X on an x86 Intel SSE2 and better PC, using for example the BOOT-132 method. Be aware that by booting this DVD into your PC, you will not be able to install Mac OS X! For that, you can read the full instructions here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=113288

This image upload is not intended for MAC users wishing to burn to DVD with Mac utilities such as Disk Utility, Toast, etc., since this is a .ISO and not a .dmg or .toast image. (However MAC users should also be able to burn it to DVD, if interested anyways.)

Remember to share what you will enjoy with others to enjoy as well! [SEED]

Enjoy!

>>anyone able to burn this? It fails for me using PowerISO or Nero8...

Make sure you are using a DUAL-LAYER DVD to burn. Also make sure you are not trying to force a higher burn speed than what your DVD disc can take.

Both ways, your problem is due to either your hardware setup or some burning software conflict on getting full access to the drive.
After downloading and burning to a dl-dvd this will not work. The disc just ejects itself after 1 minute.
I can only find boot camp
This image is either fake (doubtful) or just broken (very likely).

Crashes ultraiso, burned dual layer disc shows 1 partition - windows 'bootcamp' partition. There is no valid boot signature on the DVD. I'm assuming that the other partitions are corrupt.

Do Not Download.
We call that image an Hybrid dvd which means that you cant see the integral dvd when you are on windows XP and its the same thing when you are on Mac OS X.

If you want to make sure the dvd is correct, boot on Linux :P
Just ejects when trying to boot from this DVD. Burned correctly with a brand new DVD+DL Drive on a brand new DVD+DL using Infrarecorder. -1 to torrent
Well??? Anyone with positive results yet???
For all users complaining:
READ before DOWNLOAD!

Be aware that by booting this DVD into your PC, you will not be able to install Mac OS X! For that, you can read the full instructions here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=113288
Which macbook is it for? Why cant you put that info in description ?

if i have an older macbook than this is made for , i just wasted 2? for a dl disc
Alex_94 is right, I as well only found Boot Camp. This is NOT an iso of Leopard 10.5.1.
For all users trying to boot their PC with this DVD+DL image:

I repeat; READ & understand before download.
You ARE NOT supposed to be able to boot your PC with this DVD, neither you are supposed to see the contents (except for the bootcamp package) of this DVD using Windows!

YOU CAN BOOT ONLY A MAC with this DVD, since of course this is Mac OSX Leopard retail DVD.

Are you trying to install OSX on your PC? Then this DVD+DL image is the ISO image you'll need on the #3 step of the instructions found here;

Good luck!
This torrent worked flawlessly, I downloaded, burned with IMG burn on a verbatim DL disk and installed leopard 10.5.1, doing system updates now. This works only on MACS, this is NOT an x86 download. so SEED!
Worked great for me, will seed as long as I can!
im sorry to sound really dumb but im confused as to what this is... is it the software for windows to transfor to mac os x?
@esanhusky

are you windows 7 after you install mac os ??
Burned fine on ImgBurn. you must use +DL
not -DL or SL(4.7)
